  1. Module 01

Governance and Accountability for a Brokerage

Apply the broker's supervisory duty to AI-assisted work, build the roles, policy, and committee that discharge it across licensees, staff, vendors, and any property management arm, and maintain a regulatory map that includes evolving state AI statutes.

  2. Module 02

    Vendor Assessment and Contracts

Assess AI vendors against data handling, security, fair housing, consent, MLS licensing, and content criteria; negotiate the contract terms that matter, including no-training and retention limits; and plan for exit, continuity, and concentration risk before the vendor changes its terms.

  3. Module 03

    Security, Privacy, and Fraud Controls

Build a brokerage security programme: a wire-fraud and business email compromise defence that assumes voice cloning, privacy practices that satisfy a patchwork of state laws, and prompt-injection and agentic-risk controls scaled from one inbox to every automation the brokerage runs.

  4. Module 04

    Complex Scenario Analysis

Apply a reusable method to scenarios that engage more than one rule: fair housing questions raised by ad targeting, chatbots, and accommodation requests; compensation and settlement questions under the 2024 practice changes and RESPA; and valuation questions involving AVMs, AI-generated CMAs, appraisal independence, and algorithmic rent-setting.

  5. Module 05

    Leadership, Implementation, and Independent Verification

Lead AI adoption across independent contractors and staff with training, incentives, and enforcement; commission independent verification through internal audit, fair housing testing, and external review; and build a roadmap and owner reporting that state honest metrics and the risks accepted.

MAREC is an independent professional education program. It is not a real estate license, does not replace state licensing requirements, and is not endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS, any multiple listing service, brokerage, or state real estate commission.
