    What an Automation May Do in a Dental Practice: Authority and Its Limits

    Level 5 opens with authority: the three levels an automation may hold in a dental practice, the licensed acts a practice act keeps with a person, the permanent exclusion list, the written register that bounds each automation, and the permission creep that turns a fooled model into a wrong action on a patient record.

  2. Module 02

    Orchestrating New-Patient Intake, Forms and Benefits Verification

    First contact as one designed operation: steps with named owners, timeouts and a dead-end path so nothing waits forever on a patient who never replies; minimum necessary applied to an automation that could read the whole database; where a state AI disclosure duty actually bites; and the separate breach rule that catches a non-HIPAA app the practice points patients at.

  3. Module 03

    Orchestrating Recall, Reactivation and the Fill List

    Recall, reactivation and short-notice fill lists built as one consent-aware operation: consent recorded per channel and per purpose, revocation honoured within ten business days across text, voice and email, artificial-voice calls designed to the rules, the point where a reminder becomes marketing, and measurement that claims only what it measured.

    The Integration Map and Data Contracts

    Before an automation moves one record, the practice maps every system it touches — practice-management system, imaging system, clearinghouse, portal, phone, text and fax — then writes a data contract at each boundary saying which fields must arrive, what they mean, and what the automation does when they do not.

    Practice-Management System Integration: Read First, Write With Approval

    An automation earns write access to the practice-management system one action at a time: a read-only phase long enough to see what it would have done, a proposal queue a person works, then a narrow, logged, reversible write. Some writes never arrive, and the clinical record is first among them.

  6. Module 06

    Imaging-System Integration That Stays Read-Only

    One integration never graduates. An imaging-assist output may be surfaced to the dentist inside the dentist's own workflow and nowhere else: never written into the chart, the treatment plan, the claim narrative, a recall trigger or a patient presentation, and never stated as a finding by an automation.
