    What a Practice Owes: Accountability for AI Across a Medical Practice

    Level 4 begins with accountability. Trace where AI decisions hide between the switchboard, the portal inbox, the documentation queue and the billing office, name the owners HIPAA and compliance guidance already expect, read the board and association silence honestly, and write the list nothing may take from a person.

  2. Module 02

    Writing the Practice AI Governance Programme

    Build the programme a practice can actually operate: a permitted-use inventory and approved tool list, a way to find shadow AI, decision rights and stop authority, and all of it fitted inside the compliance programme already running. Use the voluntary frameworks as vocabulary for asking questions, never as rules.

  3. Module 03

    The AI Decision Record and Surviving Staff and Ownership Turnover

    A governance decision that nobody can reconstruct is a decision the practice will make again, badly. Write down why each choice was made, by whom and on what evidence, decide how long to keep it, re-open it when the tool or the rule moves, and leave a record a successor or an investigator can actually follow.

    The Regulatory Map: What Binds the Practice, the Manufacturer, the Developer and the Payer

    Four columns, and only two routes between them. Learn to place every AI instrument against the party it actually binds, trace how manufacturer, developer and health plan rules reach a practice through a product or a contract, and date every entry so the map ages visibly instead of silently.

    Due Diligence on a Healthcare AI Supplier

    Before patient information reaches a supplier, find out where it goes, who else touches it, whether it trains anything, how the product is built and how it changes. Then learn to tell a real answer from a practised evasion, and what a practice does when a supplier will not answer at all.

    Validation Evidence, Published Accuracy and the Practice's Own Acceptance Test

    A published figure is a measurement of something, somewhere, by someone. Learn to ask what was measured and what was not, why an examination benchmark is a capability signal rather than a workplace result, why documentation and coding studies disagree with each other, and how to design the practice's own acceptance test.
