Level 1 is the foundation the rest of the Master AI Small Business Owner Certification is built on. It is written for the person who runs the business: the owner of a bakery, a plumbing company, a two-chair salon, a family hardware store, an online shop, a consultancy, or a growing firm of thirty people who is being told from every direction that AI will change everything and needs to know what is actually true.

Forty modules move from what generative AI is and how it fails, through the business fundamentals AI has to serve, to the practical areas where an owner will meet it first: planning and research, branding and websites, search, content, social media, email and text marketing, lead generation, sales, customer service, CRM, scheduling, operations, standard operating procedures, automation and agents, finance and bookkeeping support, pricing, hiring and training, team leadership, cybersecurity, privacy, legal awareness, reviews and reputation, e-commerce, local service operations, reporting, inventory and vendors, projects, funding readiness, expansion, and what is coming next.

Every module keeps three questions in view. What can a model genuinely do for this task? Where does it fail, and how would you know? Who in the business checks the output before a customer, an employee, a bank, or a tax return relies on it? Owners finish with a working vocabulary, a set of tested prompts, a personal data-handling rule for customer and employee information, and a realistic 90-day plan for the first uses of AI in their own business.

The course is vendor-neutral. Exercises use fictional businesses and invented customers and can be completed with any general-purpose assistant the owner already has access to. Nothing in Level 1 is legal, tax, accounting, or HR advice; every module says when a question belongs with a qualified professional.

This is an independent educational course offered by AI Coalition Network. The certificate records that you completed the work. It is not a business licence, a professional qualification, or an approval from any government agency.
