Level 4 made you accountable for how a construction company uses AI. Level 5 makes you the person who builds the machinery and can be trusted to switch it on. It is a hands-on design-and-controls course for general contractors, specialty subcontractors, construction managers, and owner representatives who have moved past single-prompt assistance and are now wiring AI into the systems that hold submittals, requests for information, change events, cost codes, payroll, and payment applications.

The course opens with agents and orchestration. You will learn the practical difference between a prompt, a scripted workflow, and an agent that chooses its own next step, and you will learn to say plainly which one a given piece of construction work needs. In an industry where a missed notice deadline can extinguish a claim and a wrong number on a payment application can become a false certification, the answer is usually the least autonomous option that does the job. You will write an automation charter that fixes the trigger, the allowed tools, the stop conditions, and the blast radius before anything is connected to a live project.

The second module is integration. You will read an API contract for a project management system the way a project engineer reads a specification section: what it writes, what cannot be undone, what it rate-limits, and what it does twice if you retry. You will connect estimating and accounting systems without corrupting the cost ledger, and design field capture that survives a jobsite with no signal, where a phone syncs three hours later and the record has to reconcile rather than collide.

The third module is control. Approval gates are designed for a superintendent standing in a trailer with four minutes, not for the engineer who built them. Notices, change orders, certified payroll, and payment applications each get a gate matched to what is at stake. Service accounts get least privilege, scoped credentials, and an owner across office and field. And the qualifying individual, the licence, and the design professional chain stay where the law puts them: an automation never signs, seals, certifies, or advertises.

The fourth module is security and operations: injection and tool abuse through submittals, subcontractor emails, and scanned drawings; logging and monitoring across many projects at once; and an incident runbook that works when an automation has already issued fourteen notices. The fifth module measures value honestly, manages the portfolio across projects and divisions, and takes an automation from a pilot job to standard practice with stop criteria written in advance.
