Curriculum at a glance
From AI fundamentals to accounting firm growth
-
Module 01
Agents and Orchestration in an Accounting Firm
Define what an agent may, must never, and may only with approval do inside a firm, then build two orchestrations end to end: client onboarding through engagement letter and prepared-by-client request, and the month-end close from bank feed to reviewed flux narrative.
-
Module 02
APIs and Integrations With the Firm Systems of Record
Design the integration map and data contracts across the general ledger and ERP, practice management, document management, tax preparation and e-file, payroll, and payments, with minimum fields, read-only defaults, idempotent approval-gated writes, and journal-entry controls treated as the highest-risk write in the firm.
-
Module 03
Approval Gates and Role-Based Access in a Firm
Design the gate for every action that posts to a ledger, reaches a client, or lands on a return, build a role model that survives seasonal preparers and outsourced teams with consent and supervision as hard constraints, and design an override and kill switch that a person can actually use in March.
-
Module 04
Injection Defence, Engagement-File Logging, and Monitoring
Treat client PDFs, bank statements, portal uploads, vendor invoices, and inbound email as hostile input, log every agent action so the documentation standards are met from inside the engagement file, and monitor for drift, cost, and silent failure across a year whose volume swings by a factor of five.
-
Module 05
Incident Response, Return Measurement, and the Implementation Project
Adapt the NIST incident-response structure to automation failures in a firm, apply the Safeguards Rule and state breach obligations when taxpayer data is involved, measure return honestly against a seasonal business, and follow the seven-stage implementation method the capstone requires.
