How this one is meant to be worked through, in the author's own words:

1. Read the Introduction and Chapters 4 to 7 first, in order. Those are the four rules, and everything after them assumes them.
2. Establish what applies to old coatings where you live, from a competent local source, before you buy anything. Section 5.2 tells you how to find out. It does not tell you the answer, and neither does AI.
3. Already flipping? Start with Chapter 19, then Chapter 25, then Chapter 30 - the inspection you are not doing, the operations that generate the exposure, and the hours missing from your floor.
4. Write Resources 27 and 28 before viewing anything else. A refusal decided in advance costs nothing; a refusal decided in a stranger's driveway costs the piece and the relationship.
5. Ask your insurer the ten questions in Resource 8 before the first piece, not after the first claim. Solvents, dusts, stock held at home, and delivery in your own vehicle are the four that surprise people.
6. Work Resource 66, the Thirty-Day Launch Plan, in order. It is sequenced so nothing depends on something not yet done.
7. Buy one piece. Finish it. Sell it. Record every number. Then decide anything else. And never buy while a piece sits unstarted.
8. Every figure in the book is blank for completion. Fill in your own using Resources 30, 31, and 32.

Written to be used rather than skimmed. Every financial figure is left blank on purpose, and anything touching law, tax, insurance or data protection is written as questions for a qualified professional rather than answers.
