How this one is meant to be worked through, in the author's own words:
1. Read the Introduction and Chapters 4 to 7 first, in order. Those are the four rules, and everything after them assumes them.
2. If you already do this work, start with Chapter 4, then Chapter 20, then Chapter 7 - the habit you have almost certainly formed, the deliverable you are probably not producing, and the resemblance you have not thought about.
3. Never touch the client's keyboard. Their hands, every time, including when it is slower, and it is always slower. Chapter 4.
4. Never ask for, write down, photograph, store, or type a password, and look away visibly every time one is entered. The gesture is the lesson. Chapter 5.
5. Never use remote-control software on a client's device, in any circumstance, with or without permission - because the fraud has permission too, and every legitimate remote session rehearses the illegitimate one. Section 5.4.
6. Speak to the learner before confirming any booking, even when a relative is arranging and paying. Section 6.1.
7. Check that account recovery actually works before changing any credential. Almost nobody's does, and no client will ever ask you to. Section 22.3.
8. Write the practice guide during the session, dictated by the client in their own words, and print it in large type on matt paper. A guide written in your words is a guide they cannot follow. Chapter 20.
Written to be used rather than skimmed. Every financial figure is left blank on purpose, and anything touching law, tax, insurance or data protection is written as questions for a qualified professional rather than answers.
